An affordable and well designed scale. Stainless bowl is of excellent quality. The scale has an awesome tare feature that will allow you to zero out ANY container (plate or bowl).

Additionally, as you add ingredients, hit the tare button again to zero it and then add new ingredients.

Easy to use and store; accurate By Larry
This is a great machine. It is easy to use with anything because you can easily zero it out. For example, you want to weigh an item that you have placed on a plate; put an empty plate on the scale, hold down the button until you get zero; then put your plate with object on the scale.

We put the bowl into service with other bowls. You don't really need it for this scale. It's been accurate and handy to store and to use for the year that we have owned it.

Kitchen Workhorse By ATLJan
Great size for small kitchen with little counter space. Stands on its side when not in use. Have not found a space for the large bowl yet and usually use a smaller container for measuring food, usually the container for mixing or eating, Have sometimes just used a piece of wax paper or paper towel for measuring and the scale even measures the tare weight of that!

Has helped tremendously with portion control and shows me how far off my eye has been. I use it sever times a day, starting with breakfast cereal and going all the way through dinner. Can't see why a larger one is necessary for everyday cooking!
