Tare
Precision Tare instantly subtracts the weight of any vessel from the contents in it, to give you simple and accurate measurements of messy ingredients, without having to think about how much that bowl weighs.

Precise
Four high precision GFX sensors ensure that you’ll receive an accurate measurement with every use. This scale is able to calculate weights from 0.1 oz to 11lbs (1 gram to 5250 grams), making it suitable for dry goods, fruit, or any other food product.

Perfect for any kitchen

Large LCD
A large, 56 x 45 mm LCD screen displays bright, easy-to-read numbers, so you can keep that midnight snack your little secret in a dark kitchen. The ultra-durable tempered glass surface is four times stronger than regular glass, making it tough enough to resist the scrapes, bangs, and jostling of a busy cooking station.

Easy clean up! Great Color choices!
Meanwhile, its smooth surface makes for easy cleanup and gives the piece a sophisticated, modern look. Touch sensitive icons are easy to use and make for a single flat pane that is free of cracks and crevices that could house food residue. This piece is available in either white with teal accents or deep navy with white and orange accents, to add a subtle, yet fun, pop of color to any kitchen.

Customer Reviews:

Damn Fine Product
Wanting to integrate myself into the exciting world of food scales, I initially ordered an Ozeri Pronto scale. Fortunately for me, that package arrived open, used, fingerprint-laden, and completely nonfunctional. That scale was more or less a chintzy piece of garbage, buy thankfully the great company of Amazon handled the situation with great aplomb and I searched for a similarly priced replacement.

Enter the MIRA Glass Digital Scale, wonderfully on sale in the unfortunate color of tan for the same price as the Ozeri. But wow, was I impressed. This thing is a work of art in comparison. Solidly built, presumably accurate (flawless in my first 4 days of use), low profile, it's got it all. And damn if every color other than the brown/tan I have (oh well) doesn't look absolutely fabulous.

I cannot recommend this product enough with regards to price, function, and value.

A Great Value With a Couple of Display Drawbacks
Until very recently, we had an Oxo kitchen scale that is the comparable model to the MIRA.

Both scales weigh up to 11 pounds. Both are very accurate. The MIRA is actually a better looking scale, but function is much more important than looks especially since our scale is always kept on a pantry shelf. My wife and I thought that the display on the MIRA was more difficult to read. The readout is blue with elongated numbers. On the Oxo, the readout is black on gray, and the numbers are large and further apart which is really important when something weighs 1.1 or even 1.0. We suggest that MIRA increase the space between numbers and decimal points.

The MIRA is 2 inches shorter and narrower than the Oxo, and the Oxo has a display that can be pulled out so that larger objects' weight can be easily seen. Oxo also has a raised on/off button on the slanted front panel which we prefer to MIRA's flat On/Off/TARE "button."

We did like that the MIRA converts ounces to pounds and ounces once it reaches 16 ounces. However, neither of us liked the display of 2 and 2/3rds ounces as 2.66 ounces. If we have trouble with that, imagine how we are at metrics. The MIRA can be set to metrics.

Had we had nothing to compare it to, the MIRA would rate 5 stars. The price is half that of the Oxo, and we felt that it was worth more than Amazon's/MIRA's price. It is sturdy, extremely easy to use with a TARE feature that, when set to zero, automatically disregards the weight of the container and just weighs the food.

In short: well worth the price; very accurate; easy to clean glass top; runs on 3 AAA batteries (included); great in the kitchen. But the readout in the two aspects above brings it down to four stars.

The MIRA was provided to us for an objective review. At half the price of the Oxo, which would we chose? My wife uses the scale perhaps once a week, and probably we'd go with the MIRA.

Very Pleased...
I wanted a kitchen scale that I could tuck away and not take up cabinet/counter space. This is perfect! I also love that it has no raised buttons where food and gunk can get trapped. The glass surface wipes clean easily. Love the big light-up screen so I can see it easily when I'm in daze first thing in the morning. I bought the black version. I have nothing bad to say about this scale. I've had it for 4 months now and use it daily. If it acts up, I'll be sure to post an update :-)
